Tuition Policy for Dance and Theater Programs

1 Class 45 mins                $576 annually
Each additional                $547.20 annually

One hour per week           $576 annually
Each additional                 $547.20 annually

One hour and a half           $864 annually
Each additional                  $820.80 annually

These prices include a $15 registration fee per student.
Third class a week is 50% off the annual cost.
$2376/annually unlimited classes, available for Teen Workshop Students only.  Includes on-going yoga and pilates
classes, specialty classes and workshops are not included.

PAYMENT PLANS

Tuition paid in full at the time of registration, and prior to September 1st receives a 5% discount. There is a 5%
sibling discount on tuition. Class Mentor discounts and work-study opportunities are available, please inquire.   We
accept Master Card, Visa and we also now accept debit cards, as well as cash and checks.

We also are pleased to offer an auto- pay option for those of you who wish to have a payment plan.  This can be
done with a checking account, a debit card or a Visa or MasterCard.  Your account will be automatically billed. Set
up of the auto-pay option must be made at registration.  You must bring a voided check from the checking account
you plan to authorize the withdrawal from or the credit /debit card you plan to use.  Payment plans require a
minimum of 25% tuition deposit and $15 registration fee at registration.  Payments can be scheduled for the 1st
or the 15th of the month (Oct. – May), or you can schedule quarterly payments, one in September, December and
March.


Returned checks or denied auto- payments will be charged a $25 fee.

REFUND POLICY:  All payments are non-refundable and cannot be applied to any other semester or programs at
The Graceful Planet.  Refunds/Credits will only be given with a Doctor's note.

CLASSES

Classes may be cancelled or combined due to insufficient registration.  When a class reaches its maximum
capacity it will be closed.

In case of inclement weather, please call the studio one hour prior to your class to see if it is cancelled.  

Students are expected to arrive on time for class.  There are no deductions, refunds or credits on tuition for
missed classes.  It is the responsibility of the student to make up all missed classes.  Your teacher can
recommend an appropriate make up class.

OBSERVATION

On occasion the instructor may choose to open the blinds to allow for observation.  Please be aware for some of
our younger students this can be VERY distracting.   Please do not expect to be able to observe each class year
round.

CONDUCT

Every student is expected to behave and to be kind and courteous.  There is no smoking on the premises and no
chewing gum.  If you are waiting in our lobby and your children are playing in the playroom, please be mindful of
their behavior and be sure to leave the room as you found it.

ATTENDANCE

Attendance is important to the development of the dancer.  Please call the studio if the student will be absent.  
Also please be sure to make up any missed classes.  You MUST notify us in writing if you are not continuing with a
class or you will continue to be charged.  

DRESS CODE

Creative Movement – Children can dress in any attire they can move in safely, (please be aware long dresses can
be unsafe) creativity is encouraged (tutus, dress up etc.) leotards and tights. Pink Leather Ballet Slippers, hair
off the face.

Pre-Ballet – Pink Leotard and tights, Pink Leather Ballet Slippers, hair off the face.

Ballet – Black leotard, Pink tights, Pink Leather Ballet slippers, hair in bun

Petite Ballet Workshop – Black leotard, Pink tights, Pink Leather Ballet slippers with pink ribbons, hair in bun

Teen Ballet Workshop - Black leotard, Pink tights, Pink Leather Ballet slippers with pink ribbons, Pointe shoes,
hair in bun

Jazz – Any appropriate dance attire, Jazz pants, slip on black leather Jazz shoes preferred. Hair off the face

Hip Hop – Any appropriate dance attire, Jazz Pants, black Hip Hop Sneaker preferred, NO STREET SHOES will
be permitted on the dance floors.  Hair off the face.

Tap – Any appropriate dance attire, Jazz pants, black tap shoes.  Hair off the face.

Modern – Any appropriate dance attire, bare feet, kneepads maybe needed, instructor will advise.  Hair off the
face.
